Nicknames: "The Happy Cat Logo", "The KMFSN Cat Head", "The KMFSN Lolcat", "The kmfsn@nite Logo"
Logo: On a very pale gray background, we see the head of a smiling cat with a black-and-white effect (this cat is the Happycat character; it later appeared on the website of a Russian cat food company, as the cat in the "NEDM Fad" on YTMND.com, and as the famous "I CAN HAZ CHEEZBURGER?" cat picture). Under it, it would say one of these texts:
- July 28, 1995-December 25, 1998, May 7, 2001-January 1, 2003: "HAPPY CAT INDUSTRIES", in a "ghost" font is below the cat.
- October 22, 1999-: "NEDM PRODUCTIONS"
- There is also an inverted version of the HCI logo with the gray BG and a brightness effect applied to the cat on season 7 of HCC2C.
- On recent kmfsn@nite shows from 2012 and onwards, the logo has (barely readable) KMF Studios Network copyright information, and it does not cut to the KMF Studios Network "Skull". Also, the logo has been converted to letterbox.
FX/SFX: Very little. A subtle waving of the logo.
Music/Sounds: The ever popular Mark VII Limited "Hammer" sound from 1967-1971, containing two strikes of the hammer (three for the Happy Cat Industries version), being shortened on some shows.
Music/Sounds Variants: In other cases, it used the closing theme of the show.
Availability: Common. The "Happy Cat Industries" variant can be found on 1995-2001 episodes of Happy Cat Coast to Coast starting with the S2 episode, "Sleeper" (as well as its finale "Live At The Fillmore", aired in 2004, due to the fact that said episode is unfinished and so its entire end credits sequence, logos and all, is just the one from the HCI-era episode "Kentucky Nightmare"), as well as the rather obscure KMF Planet. The "NEDM Productions" one can be seen on most everything kmfsn@nite produced recently, and HCC2C episodes from season 6.
Editor's Note: A remarkable logo due to its a sampling of a logo theme from the past, its dark and unique concept and its longevity. This logo is also very popular and is a favorite for those who are not scared of it.
