Eccentric (TV channel)
Eccentric is an American cable/satellite television network owned by Ceptua. It is one of the largest on-air cable networks in the country, and boasts a weekly audience of over 300 million (according to the most recent numbers published by Nielsen , it is currently ranked as the #4 network in the country, with an estimated audience of 360 million). Since its inception, Eccentric has aired a wide range of programming with a wide range of themes. Although Eccentric's programming and events may have a variety of subjects, it is largely devoted to entertainment.
Eccentric began its life as an offshoot of DBC which was formed in 1990. It was initially launched under the name "DBC Entertainment", but was renamed to Eccentric in 2005.
