Delta Broadcasting System
The Delta Broadcasting System (commonly known as Delta) was an American terrestrial television network that operated from 19 March 1957 until 8 March 1985, when it was replaced by DBC.
The network began broadcasting its original programming on 20 March 1957. Its first season featured live football game broadcasts. The network also ran a variety of local, regional and national sports and drama shows. Its programming included many popular sports, as well as other television programs by major production companies.
The network was acquired by Ceptua Communications in June 1966.
